Welcome, Dion van Zanten

We are delighted to welcome Dion van Zanten to Iconics Management. The FC Dordrecht U21 attacking midfielder has shown impressive development within the club over the past few years and is now firmly knocking on the door of the first team.

A true club player, Dion has been wearing the FC Dordrecht shirt since the U14s. After a strong season with the U19s, he made the step up to the U21s last winter, where he immediately managed to stand out. Not only through his performances on the pitch, but also through his leadership qualities, which quickly earned him the captain’s armband.

Dion is known as a technically gifted midfielder with an excellent passing range, a strong feel for the final third, and great game intelligence. His ability to read the game means he is regularly involved in goals, both by providing assists and by scoring himself.

What perhaps stands out most, however, is the composure with which he plays. Even under pressure, Dion keeps his overview and often makes the right decision. He has also trained with FC Dordrecht’s first team on several occasions and will join them for pre-season ahead of the new campaign.
